Eligibility qualification & experience :
1. Professor : An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with
Ph.D degree and First Class Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline; 10 years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which three years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.
2. Associate Professor : Ph.D Degree with First Class Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
with eight years of experience of Teaching/ Industry/ Research out of which three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent excluding the period exclusively spent for obtaining the Research Degree is required. The candidates should have also made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality publication, contribution to educational innovation, design or new courses curricula.
3.Assistant Professor : Varies from disciplines to disciplines.

UPSC Medical Services Exam-2010
COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION 2010
The Union Public Service commission will hold the Combined Medical Services Examination 2010 on 17th January, 2010. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
Conditions of Elgibility :
(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:
Age Limit :
Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st January, 2010. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.
(B) Educational Qualifications:
A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of final MBBS Examination.
Application form :
The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Ooffices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-
Fee :
Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.

Qualificaitons :
- An unmarried Male or Female Indian citizen, 19 to 23 years of age
- A first class Gradaute in any discipline with Physcis and Maths at 10+2 level or BE/ B.Tech. Final year students may also apply, provided they would qualify for a degree and submit result by 15 June 2010.
- At least 162.5 cms in height and have a leg length in the range 99 cms and 120 cms, vision 6/6 without spectacles
Pay Scale : Flying Officer get salary in the Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay + Militry Service Pay
